DIRECTORATE K
Directorate K is the secret successor to the Soviet Union's KGB. While the USSR officially collapsed in 1991, a faction of high‐ranking intelligence officers, military leaders, financiers, and political operatives refused to disappear alongside it. Instead, they vanished into the shadows.
Over the following decades, Directorate K rebuilt itself as a covert intelligence empire operating beyond the authority of any government. Rather than ruling through military force, they infiltrated banks, corporations, political parties, media organizations, and private security firms. Their influence stretches across multiple continents, allowing them to manipulate global events without revealing their existence.
Directorate K values loyalty above all else. Betrayal is punished without mercy, while successful agents are rewarded with resources, protection, and influence unavailable anywhere else. Members are taught to sacrifice their identities for the organization, becoming ghosts who exist only to further its goals.
Despite its ruthless reputation, Directorate K genuinely believes it is saving humanity. Its leadership views democratic governments as weak, corrupt, and incapable of solving global crises. Their ultimate objective is not conquest, but control: a world secretly guided by an invisible hand to prevent war, economic collapse, and chaos.
To the outside world, Directorate K is a conspiracy theory. To those who know the truth, it may be the most powerful organization on Earth.
THE AGENCY
The Agency is an international intelligence organization operating independently of any single nation. Created after decades of global conflicts, its purpose is to monitor threats too dangerous or politically sensitive for ordinary governments to address.
Unlike most intelligence services, The Agency recruits operatives from dozens of countries and backgrounds. Loyalty is expected not to a flag, but to humanity as a whole. Its agents are deployed across the world to investigate terrorist groups, criminal syndicates, rogue governments, corporate conspiracies, and emerging global threats.
The Agency is highly secretive. Even world leaders often know little about its operations. Most missions are conducted through small autonomous teams, allowing operatives to adapt quickly without political interference.
The Director oversees the organization through a strict meritocratic system. Agents are judged by results rather than rank, status, or nationality. Failure is tolerated. Betrayal is not.
Many consider The Agency the last line of defense against threats operating beyond the reach of conventional governments. Operation Snowfall, the mission assigned to Agent 30, is considered one of the most dangerous investigations in Agency history due to the possibility that Directorate K has already infiltrated governments around the globe.
THE DIRECTOR
Director is the leader of Agent 30's intelligence organization.
Not much is known of them. Calm, calculating, and extremely pragmatic, the Director places mission success above almost everything else. He rarely shows emotion and speaks with the confidence of someone accustomed to making impossible decisions.
Despite his cold demeanor, he genuinely cares about his agents. He simply believes emotional attachment compromises judgment.
He personally selected Agent 30 for Operation Snowfall because he believed nobody else could survive it.
